DAY 9
It started out warm and humid today and just got hotter. It was a nice walk to Hardraw Force which was nothing special, but going up Great Shunner Fell nearly killed me off. We saw Jack a couple of times today. We all stopped at the hotel / teashop in Thwaite where I had a Coke and a Magnum ice cream, yum yum. Mum bought a Gollywog and attached him to her pack! The scenery between Thwaite and Keld was beautiful with lots of wild flower meadows. We had a brief but heavy shower which made the limestone we were walking on very slippery. I was glad to get to Keld.
