DAY 16
Our second ‘rest’ day. A leisurely
start and a trip to Carvoran museum by Hadrians Wall. Here I bought my sword
and was instantly transformed into a Roman Centurion. It was fun. It was
another hot day and The Way ran with the Hadrians Wall path at times too. It
was very up and down by the wall but it was really pretty too. I saw a small
lizard in the grass as well. Walking along the road outside the visitor centre
at Once Brewed that afternoon Mum twisted her ankle and somersaulted into the
ditch by the road. It did look quite funny.
