DAY 11

This was our rest day. We spent a lazy morning around the shops in Barnard Castle. Couldn’t really buy much as we had to carry it. After lunch we got a taxi back to The Way and started walking. It was a lovely day, sunny with a good breeze. The walk over the moors to Baldersdale was good and the hostel was surrounded by lovely views of the moors and reservoirs. This was the half way point of the Pennine Way.
