DAY 10

It’s still very warm. I saw two very big hares outside the Youth Hostel first thing this morning. Today we went to the highest pub in the country – The Tan Hill Inn. Jack was already there! I had a cup of tea and some crisps then I was ready for the sometimes boggy Sleightholme Moor. After we’d had lunch we walked with Jack until Gods Bridge where Jack went on to Baldersdale and we turned off to Bowes and another welcome drink at the Post Office. Today we saw lots of fighter planes flying very low around the area. They went really fast and were very noisy. Cool.
